Homework
By Cathy

Clip to ScrapBook
I let my parents know right in the beginning of the year that there is a difference between homework and incomplete classwork. My district policy is the same as yours 10 minutes per grade level. I teach 4th grade so technically they should have 40 minutes per night, but I don't always give them that much. Personally if it wasn't required I probably wouldn't even give homework. I think kids need a break sometimes and I know that when I get home I like to relax, so why shouldn't they? It's a different story though for the kids who are bringing home classwork to complete. I have some that NEVER finish their work so their only option is to take it home.
