Morning Routine

I usually get up at about 10 minutes til 6. My husband gets up at 6. I would get up earlier if I needed to for the assignment. I shower before he gets up. He has instructions on how to accept assignments for me, so I don't
miss any calls while I'm in the shower. So far, they haven't called till after my shower anyway. I get completely ready (hair and makeup)except for getting dressed up. I usually put on loose lounge clothes and wait until they call to dress. They usually call early enough for that. I have my sub bag and lunch ready to go the night before, so it's just a matter of dressing and leaving.

If they don't call, then I'm ready to put on casual clothes and get on with my day. I know it sounds early to get up, but I like taking my time to have a leisurely cup of coffee and think about the day. So far, I have been able to get the schools in plenty of time to look over plans. Sometimes the teacher is still there, so I get to ask any questions about the plans too, which is very helpful. This schedule works well for the district I sub most at. Hope this helps.
