Defiant Child
By miss j

Clip to ScrapBook
Hello, I was reading your message re. defiant child and I wanted to let you know that you are not alone in this I to have children that act the same way my problem is theres not only one. When I call out there name they say
what when I tell them it's time for lesson they say no I felt hopeless and thought that I could not change this, but remember one thing, that is your classroom those are your students, no matter how young they may be they are there to learn and the children that are behaving have a right to learn, and be there, this child does not, I suggest speaking to mom and being completely honest
find out if somethings going on at home or how you can help, but also let her know that this is a classroom where others are easily influenced and that you can not permit that or everyone looses, I'm sorry if I seem a little harsh but I feel that is complete and total disrespect, and personally going through the same thing, I began to wonder what exactly was going on at home, and i found out that was the case, one of my kids parents was telling him that he did not have to listen to anyone but her. I hope this is helpfull, just remember its you classroom.
