Homework
By Helen

Clip to ScrapBook
This assignment or ones very like it are found in many Math books using hands on lessons.
I doubt very seriously if the teacher is even thinking anything abour your economic status. If she wants to she can find that in various other sources...lunch applications, your work address etc.
I personally give a similar assignment.."count the number os doors in your home, don't forget closets and cabinets!!! Get an adult to help you think and count." I do this to practice counting, to make student aware of numbers in everyday lif, to get them to be more observant
and to get families involved. I never thought of usingit as a financial appraisal?
