I have been in the process of trying to remove my assistant for over a year now. In the beginning I was told that I did not have enough documentation. I have a calendar now specifically for this. I include everything from how late she was to inappropriate comments made to children. My assistant tells the school that I am too hard on the kids. She does everything for them. Last year I had her copy the IEP's in the beginning of the year and she actually talked about a students IQ with another student....unfortunately she doesn't appear to be going anywhere but I'll keep documenting until she is gone.
