schedules

Clip to ScrapBook
first thing first. The schedules for those students in your class that need to go elsewhere. Set a timer. Tell them that when the timer goes off, they need to go to resource room or whatever. Sometimes, having a schedule
with the times on their desks helps to. As far as what to do with you class that obviously is filled with many levels, use the other adults that are in your classroom. Maybe ask them to do simple tasks with the groups like read a book to them or complete a worksheet that is self explantory. That way you do not have to write the extra lesson plans and it gives you the opportunity
to work with small groups of students at their levels. Obviously with the class that you have, it will take longer to teach material. If you accept this and move through at the students level, things will begin to work smoother. Hope this helps!
