I go about it with a positive attitude and look at
it as an adventure and learning experience. Going to new schools is difficult, but I've found that the majority of them are friendly and helpful. I'm able to go into
different schools and classrooms and see what all the teachers are doing and get ideas from them. Also if I have problems during the day, you deal with them the best you can according to your style, but you can leave a note at the end of the day and let the teachers deal with the problems. Also if it's a really difficult class I just don't go back. For the most part the students are
welcoming and helpful. It is helpful to be prepared. As far as socializing most schools are pretty friendly and once they get to know you you'll have more of a support system. I always bring along a book or magazine to keep me occupied during the down times at school. I hope this helps! Good luck!
