Clip to ScrapBook
Pervasive Development disorder is on the Autism Sprecturm. Often times children are labeled this by a physician becasue parents don't want an Austistic label. He may or may not meet all of the criteria set by the medical professional scale. In most states there is not Autism certificate and many of the higher kids do not need an outside placement. Perhaps and individual behavior management plan is necessary or maybe placement in a program in your home school for self-contained Ld/bd students. That way some of the behaviors could be targeted consistantly. I just finished 2 classes at the Master's level on Autism and the Spectrum disorders. It is hard to give advice without knowing more.
