Map Skills

I'm going to set up a center to create an edible map of our state. I'm going to give them the dough (I have a recipe if you want it) and a supply box of edible materials. They can be creative. I thought I'd use licorice whips to mark the highways, nestle morsels for the mountains, blue icing for water, brown sugar for the beaches, red hot dots for major cities, etc. I'll give them a rubric to work off off and have a reference table available. I hope this helps. I'm sure it will be messy but fun.
