Hi! One idea that came to mind immediately is using a glyph. You can display the glyphs as an art project on the board and also have the students write about them. Then the parents can try to guess which glyph goes with their child. Another idea.....one year we had graphs outside our rooms that the parents had to fill out. Each class chose the subject of the graph (like favorite kind of movie, fav. candy, number of people in family, etc.) and we used little sticky notes for the parents to place to make a bar graph.
