1. First- change
3. use the little pencil to draw lines and form a table. Use this line to make collums and rows. Don't forget that in most cases you can move these lines that you drew if you need more room. When you are ready to type, make sure that you de-click your pencil. This will allow you to right click and begin typing. 4. use the eraser to erase a line or even part of a line. 5. Fianlly, when you have your template just like you want it- go to file.. save... on the bottom it will say something like "save type as" you want to chose document template. This way you will always have a fresh and blank lesson plan to start with. Like i said- I hope this made sense. This is the basic way I designed your lesson plans. I suggest playiong around. The more you work with it, the more user friendly it will become. It took me a good afternoon to get mine just right. The frustrating part is when Microsoft does something that you don't want it to do- like move you entire grid to page 2! Remember to use the undo button under edit if this happens. Post back if you need more help. p.s. if you want, I can email you a copy of mine so you can look at what it looks like. It is in my distric format so chances are it won't be what you need- but it may give you an idea of what the heck i am talking about
