I am really sorry. I know what the requirements for a librarian's job are because I plan on getting my master's degree and becoming a librarian eventually. This is a serious problem from where I stand and you really should
get together with the other teachers and have a meeting with the principal about this. The librarian is supposed to be actively involved in working with curriculum and promoting reading among the students. It certainly sounds like she is not doing her job as required. Again, get some support from your fellow teachers and go as a group to see the principal. A group will have a stronger
effect in getting something done about this situation than just one teacher I wish you all the best of luck. I can't imagine a librarian who isn't passionate about reading and about motivating students to learn to live it!
