An idea or two
By Cathy-Dee

Clip to ScrapBook
You could take a week or longer and do an around the world type of theme. Or you could do something during the Christmas season - how they woudl celebrate "Christmas" in their countries.

But the safer route would be to
just pick a week or specific time period and do something around the world featuring these countries.

The students could colour maps, you could find flags perhaps that could be put up.
The parents could help by bringing in photographs, books, crafts from their countries. They could also prepare a special treat from their country (dessert, snack, etc.,)

You could have the students

do a different craft each day for each country.

It does sound like a wonderful opportunity.

Oh yes, and see if you can find stories too from those countries and see if a parent will come in to read the story.
