job chart anxiety
By Julianne

Clip to ScrapBook
Hey, I think we bought the same job chart! Cute overalls with pockets to hold school supply nametags? Well anyway, here are the two solutions I came up with to use the thing.

My solution: My chart is hung on a bulletin
board, so I just put a couple of staples into the board below the slit in each pocket. Now the pieces slip into the pocket, but don't go past the staples. Darned hard to change, though because the slit doesn't stand open. I ruined a couple of fingernails on that thing! So now I slip the new nametag in behind the old one before I remove the old one.

Another solution: Glue library

pockets to the back of the chart that line up with the slits. Rubber cement works great for this as it doesn't pucker the cardstock. You could even use regular envelopes, glued shut and then cut in half to make little library card type pockets.
