Master's pay
By Dawn

Clip to ScrapBook
The master's usually pays significantly more than non-masters teaching positions too. I agree that I learned so much from the educational theory classes and the practicum and student teaching. I would never have known how to plan a lesson without them. The program made me a good teacher. Without it I could have played the role but not really been good.

Also, getting the masters out of the way means you won't have to take classes while you are trying to teach full time. I hate to see young or new teachers taking masters classes in evenings and on weekends for years--it's a rough way to go.
