It sounds like you are on the right track. The only thing that concerns me is that you are thinking of sending her to the library with a folder. This is a good idea, but at least try to make it fun...not extra WORK. She may see that as punishment on top of exclusion, and so I would try very hard to make anything you send her to the library with to seem like enrichment of subjects that she is interested in. Also, have you considered allowing her (and mayber her parents) to present their beliefs to the class as part of a "get to know you" activity with the whole class? (Each kid would have a turn, of course, not just this family) If she is being teased, perhaps education would promote understanding and eliminate that problem. Good luck!
