I Know How You Feel

I know how you feel. I had a classroom of 26 students 3 yrs ago. All but 5 were bouncing off the walls and creating sheer havoc in the room. Inclusion can work. However, these cases where kids have some EXTREME issues, are creating serious problems for all involved. I do not hate my class, but I NOT a happy camper either. I feel for those children who are losing out because of the time I am losing "putting out fires" with my little ITCHES. I have only been teaching for 8 yrs and the saddest commentary on this is: I am no longer as enthusiastic as I was.
ALL of these side issues and distractions are wearing me out. I feel your pain and frustration so much. Please be strong and hang in there. I am also where you are at this time.
