what usually happened

Most of the time the gen. ed teacher did the class teaching, but not always. It was not unusual for me to do the lesson and the reg. ed person monitored and assisted. Some times it seemed a little like tag-team teaching. One of us would interject something or add additional comments. I almost always handled review or reteach lessons, especially if there were a lot of problems. Because I am so used to breaking things down and sometimes simplifying or going step by step, it was easier for me to reteach.Of course, I have worked with the same teachers for several years so we are all very comfortable together.
