saxon math
By Kevin

Clip to ScrapBook
I'm a fifth grade teacher and have used saxon math for many years. I believe in this program. Yes it is very intense and I use supplemental materials when I teach a lesson. For example, when we discuss fractions we use the pizza hut puzzle pieces to discuss like fractions. We still read the lesson and work through the problems, but I make the time to use the pizza pieces. I don't always use supplemental materials because saxon has nice fraction pieces or shapes that I use when I get to the lesson. We spend about 70 minutes on math each day and we have seen some major improvements since using the program. Hope you like it.
