I can appreciate what both of you are going through...I almost got assigned a 4th grade class while I had been thinking I'd be teaching Kindergarten since last June. I would have been totally unprepared, mentally and otherwise. Hang in there...try to develop the mental piece of being a kindergarten teacher ( it takes a lot!). It's unfortunate that you didn't have time to prepare, but thank goodness you've got jobs! Give it time, love the kids and take deep breaths!
