Homework

For Grade One I have the following scheduleMonday- Spelling Words 5X each writing and 1 sheet of practice work (usually math or phonics)/ practice sight word flashcards reading 10 minutes with parent
Tuesday- Practice spelling words/flashcards 2 sheets of homework (usually math/phonics/easy lang arts, reading 10 minutes with parent
Wednesday- Practice spelling words/flashcards, 2 sheets of homework reading take home book to parent
Thursday- Spelling words 5X each writing/ flashcards and 2 sheets of work (once againmath or phonics)
Friday- no homework
It seems like alot but I have only a | |
few kids sparatically not return their homework. Now as to the flashcards and spelling words practice that's another thing. I am trying to emphaize to parents the importance of doing this, but have not been able to communicate it thorugh to a few yet. I just keep trying!
