Reading Board
By Kim Lang

Clip to ScrapBook
What my kids love is a simple number line around the top of the room. The kids get weekly reading sheets that have to go home and be signed and brought back. Their character/shape then moves around the numberline in the room and they can see how many total minutes that they have read. At the end of the semester I usually reward the reader with the most minutes with a folder, pencil and cool eraser, or a new book to read!!
