Clip to ScrapBook
I don't know what grade you teach, but for my 8th graders who study American History, I use several different things. Flashcards are good, cut up timelines that they have to put in order seem to work. We listen to Americana music and they have a paper at that station that discusses the song. They have to answer questions about the time period in which it was written. Preamble to the Constitution is cut up and they like to piece it together. Federalist V. Anifederalists arguement strips have to go under the correct heading to teach the Constitution.
