I'm with you...only I have two, each with different levels and needs. I'm going to group them in several ways depending upon the strategies they need. You can still do a mini lesson on word solving, etc. with a diverse group, then ask them to read individual books on their own levels to practice what they're learning. When I was in the main building, I teamed with another teacher, which was great for planning, etc. We REALLY had dynamic grouping going. Kids would move to different groups all the time as they took on various strategies. Just make sure whoever you choose to work with understands that concept. You don't want to get into a tracking situation. Best of luck. ;-D
