Surprised ? - Don't Be!

Hi, Marcia - Just wanted to let you know that here in Connecticut the same type of practices do exist! I can understand and feel the pain you are going through. I wake up every morning and hit the keys; get in the car and actually hand deliver all of my paper work. I have been going through much the same. It's even more interesting when all you want is an answer as to why you were not chosen to fill one of those vacancies. All I can say is, don't spin your wheels with that district. It appears to be happening all over - even though there is a shortage of teachers !!!! I, too, have done the volunteer thing, and it doesn't help any. I'm beginning to think that everyone must be afraid of their job being eliminated due to town and city budgets not being approved or cut. As much as I don't want to, it's time to look elsewhere.
