Don't forget about the RICA

Also, you will need to take the RICA exam. Reading Instruction Competence Assessment. I didn't find it too terribly hard but the program I was in taught us exactly what was going to be on it. Some people find it very difficult and the study materials on it are limited. Good luck in your choices!
