Wow.. that does sound like a lot. Maybe by the end of the year that might be closer to what the can handle or asked to handle. I would not give "spelling homework" per say. I would try to make that into your centers or review it in class. This way it is up to the parents to study the list.. but not call it homework or have them turn in anything. Do you need to do the entire math worksheet? Can you pick two or three problems for them to do? Keep the reading for sure! I guess you can forget abuot ever sending home any other subject for homework, huh? Good luck with this one.
