My 4th grade class did a wonderful activity with the kindergarteners. We did an extensive author study on Dr. Suess. We learned about his writing style and sampled many (if not all!) of his books. We then wrote our own big books in the style of Dr. S. The big kids loved writing in rhyme and the little ones absolutely loved listening to our stories. It was great fun!
