* making ice cream in ziploc baggies * "good work" magnets (laminated drawings w/ magnetic strips on back) * memories & dreams quilt (5th graders write what they remember about 2nd grade, 2nd graders write what they dream 5th grade will be like - just a paper quilt, no sewing!) * turkey cookies (made from Oreos w/chocolate frosting, candy corn, malted milk balls, and red hots) * buddy field trip (on some overlapping topic in the curriculum) * cornflake wreaths (sort of like Rice Krispy treats) * candy apples Notice a food theme?
