Kathy,
All you need are the 2l soda bottles, large ring stand and a 60watt bulb. Cut the bottom out of the bottle and turn upside down in the ring stand. Attach the light bulb to the top of the ring stand and be sure it is not too close. Fill the bottle with leaf litter and place a jar with Iso-propyl alcohol under the bottle. Watch the bugs drop out. Works much better with a heavy funnel and higher heat bulb
