Easy way to remember latitude and longitude

I had some students last year show me how they remember the difference. They say the words in an exaggerated way. When you say latitude, your mouth opens farther left to right. When you say longitude, your mouth opens up and down. It seems to work for the kids. Personally, I remember latitude because the rungs of a ladder are horizontal.Hope this helps.
