Hi..Sounds pretty typical...but you could try to find an activity that is structured and consistent following lunch. You could have a read-aloud period...You could start a class meeting, that would allow for some talking in a structured setting, as well as set a way to share with each other, problem-solve, etc. Follow that with a calm transition to academics and hopefully a calm afternoon of learning. Good luck!
