Full Speed Ahead
By Nancy

Clip to ScrapBook
I envision an ocean setting.....palm trees and a huge ocean liner with all of the kids'photos peeking out of portholes and cotton for smoke/steam. You could use fish ("no limit on learning"labeled with subjects you are
studying (decimals, punctuation, etc.) that vary in size according to the length of the unit. A life preserver could hang above your desk. A study center could have an anchor ("Study helps you Anchor your Learning") or a fisherman with bait in a bucket, with each worm labeled with an important study skill.
Most party stores have sea decorations like this. Our local shop has a huge
tissue paper octopus that is great for a helpers/jobs board. They also carry a huge whale ("Think Big", etc.) You would have a lot of options with a sea theme.
