homework
By Jeanne

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi! I send home a homework sheet each night (Monday-Thursday). The sheet contains a little bit of everything (math, language arts, science or social studies and handwriting). I make it up each day (doesn't take long) and it covers what we covered in class that day. The feedback from parents has been good, They say it lets them know what's going on. We go over the sheet first thing in the morning. Students who don't have their completed homework sheet pull a tag and have to do it at recess. I have separate homework for spelling and a nightly reading log. Ocassionally I also give long term assignments. I have been using the homework sheet for 7 years and it works for me.
