Clip to ScrapBook
I don't know what the mentoring expections are in your school/district, but what you are doing is unreal to me. No one even did this for me when I was student teaching. I know you are just trying to be the best mentor, but
you are doing way to much. For sure this teacher should be doing her own copying (its okay to copy for her sometimes, but she should be reciprocating). The same goes with planning, ....how is she ever going to learn how to plan. I see a mentor, as a sounding board to discuss ideas or how to handle certain students. You need to step back a little, and focus on your students and your wedding....It
is time to draw the line!!!
Now how to do it, to be the most well received, I think you will have to do it gradually, like stopping the photocopying. Or by making comments such as you are a teacher now..try it..I know you can do it......Best of luck.
