be ready for it all
By Karen

Clip to ScrapBook
Second grade is great, but you have to be ready for the unexpected. I always have 2 behavior plans ready at the start of the year & can see which my students need (more structured and strict or more open and not as much monitoring). I've used color charts for students to change their color depending on their behavior, or simply taking away incentives like choice time. It'll be up to your class, but have a few ready! And while you're still in college.....go to other classrooms & WRITE DOWN what they do. Take pictures & accept what the teacher will give you. Believe me, it'll be worth it!!!!!!!!
