bad principal
By Ramona

Clip to ScrapBook
The first year I worked in a school where a majority of the students came from the housing projects across the street from the school. Many of the students caused problems. Being the first year teacher, I was dumped on.
I got the worst of the worst. Out of 20 students, I only had 3 that I can say were good. My principal was no help. She made me feel that I was not a good teacher. She even made the comment that I got into the wrong profession. She was very negative during each evaluation. Toward the end of the year she ask me to resign. I contacted the central office and filed a complaint against
her because I felt she was being unfair. After that, she seemed to treat me a little better. I did resign and got a job at a much better school. This will be my third year at this school.
Jay you are not alone. Each of us have had bad experiences, but we learned from them and moved on. You need to do the same. Good lucky this year. Maybe if you let it, things will be better.
