Teachers Aides are usually people who assist particular students within a classroom (usually ones who need a little extra support and attention). They can also be assigned to a whole class, to aid in supervision of students, grading, and assistance during the day. The aides at my school just have to have a high school diploma. I taught second grade. It is fun... just not for me. I like the older ones (I teach 7th & 8th now) Good luck with your studies... I loved my education classes in college. Hope I helped!
