Have your curriculum books out on student's desks. Also, maybe make a packet of information that includes your behavior system, supplies, birthday info, volunteers, etc.
It'll be nice to have it early..you can get your behavior system across to parents & that will be very helpful.
Maybe have student's and parents complete a Glyph about the child.
