Sandals
By DK

Clip to ScrapBook
About the sandals...I think the agruement is silly to think that an open shoe equals lack of professionalism. Maybe it's old-school vs. new school. Everyone in all walks of life wear sandals now, so seeing someone's toes
is not a big deal.

It's also strange how someone gets mad if someone removes their sandals, but you see the whole foot when wearing sandals anyway! Having a 1 inch band cover a tiny strip of a foot doesn't make any difference whatsoever. Also, it's accepted if someone wears pantyhose & has their high heels removed. From what I heard of, if you wear pantyhose, people might just think your

feet hurt and that you didn't want to be barefoot. BUT, if you were barefoot with no hose, it makes it look like you wanted to be barefoot! This is what a supervisor told me once anyway.

According to the www.pedolgroup.com website, there's no health, safety, or fire code statutes on record that require certain - or any- footwear. They also talk about school bullying and other silly dress rules also.

Hope this helps!
