this is a wonderful idea and i am going to see my fifth graders love it. as far as suggestions go... on this site, sometime within the last 2 wks, a site was mentioned for journals in a jar. i went to the site and copied pages and pages of journal ideas. you just laminate them , cut them into strips , and there you go.... :}
hopefully you can find this, as the ideas were really good. good luck!!bebe
