Yes I mean the 4 block literacy by Cunningham. My students I teach on their ind. level. My 1st graders go to 1st grade PE/mu lunch parties and field trips, my 2nd go with 2nd grade. My k's go with their class. I do thematic units for Science and Social Studies. During that time I still try to do things topic and leveled. If you are learning about Butterflies all 3 groups may listen and participate in some activities while the older ones may do a more difficult one. Their book baskets may have books on butterflies but on their level. Email me if you want. The juggling of teaching groups is the hardest but it is a can do and lots of fun.
