Clip to ScrapBook
I think the only series we were referring to (beside Harry) is the Series of Unfortunate Events by "Lemony Snicket". Both the Harry Potter and Snicket series should be read from the beginning. Harry because the books are based on his experiences with characters from book to book and the Snicket series because all the horrible things that happen to the children are compounded from book to book--and referred to--and the evil character is the same from the first book. I have only read the first 3 in this series, though. The Snicket books are short and quick reads. Can't tell you anything about Esperanza as I haven't read it, but cool cover!
