Setting up Word Wall
By Megan

Clip to ScrapBook
I was researching word walls and found that the alphabet on a word wall needs to be as linear/horizontal as possible. At first grade this is particularly important because these kids are just learning alphabetic principles and need to see the correct sequence.
I understand that lack of space is a problem. Perhaps you can put it on chart paper and then put portable word walls at each table
EXAMPLE:
Create a table on the computer containing each letter of the alphabet. Save it to disk so you can always update it. Print out and staple into a file folder. Good Luck!
