discuss it with your colleagues
By Cathy-Dee

Clip to ScrapBook
What I'd do is talk to those colleagues who have rooms next to your classroom and see if they are ok with you asking them to watch your class for short periods of time if you need a bathroom break. If there is a classroom with a TA all the better as the TA may be able to be spared for a few minutes from time to time.

After you have a few who are willing then I would just let your Principal know that you've made this arrangement and you hope it's fine with him/her.

If they have a problem with it - they should then come up with an alternative solution - perhaps you calling the secretary down, etc.,
