I use bears to decorate a lot too. I have Winnie and other stuffed bears all around my room. One thing I used to do, but because we have departmentalized I no longer can......Find a bear stencil. The one I used covered almost an entire sheet of construction paper. Write the students names on them in marker. When students receive a good grade, or have great conduct for the period, give them a sticker to place on the bear. When one side is full, turn them and use the other side. Or you may wish to turn them once a six weeks. It becomes their very own sticker book. I actually have had students who kept these for years.
