felt vs. tennis balls
By BeaJay

Clip to ScrapBook
I read on another post that they had used the sticky felt. I bought the sticky felt pads (like you put on the bottom of rough vases)and put them on the bottom of my brand new chairs. [I am in a new school with all new furniture.]
I bought the round ones at Dollar Tree, 45 in a pack and about 1 1/4 inch diameter. They work well if they stay on. I have several students who want to lean back in their chairs all day and their sticky pads are coming off. The children who quietly get up and down still have the pads on their chairs. The pads have been on 8 days. Anyway to make a long story short I ended
up buying tennis balls at Target. They had 20 in a box for $5.00. My husband cut small x's in 100 tennis balls this weekend so I guess I am going to try this approach now provided I am not told to take them off. They are being a little picky about everything matching! I do really want to eliminate this noise from my class. Good Luck with yours!!!
