Pencils

I have a morning routine when the students come into the classroom. Sharpening their pencil is on that list. They are to sharpen 2 pencils before reading starts at 8:15. They are also permitted to sharpen during their snack time at the end of the day for the following day. It has worked very well. I haven't had any disruptions.
