Clip to ScrapBook
You are very right! You do not HAVE to have a snack. Students do not need a bunch of junk or sweets! The snack is to HELP them get through the morning since they have a late lunch. I use to do this in the afternoon when
we had a really early lunch(10:30). They can't stayed focused if they have a bunch of junk food or sweets. You need to STAND FIRM with this parent. If you give in this time, then she will expect this every time. You have done NOTHING wrong! I have had demanding parents before and I will not back down on something that I feel is right for the students. I'm so glad you have a principal
that will back you up. I do too and I'm so grateful! I know some schools have principals that give in to every little whim the parents have. Keep doing what you're doing! Have a good week!
