It all depends on your contract. Where they get away with most of this is that teachers "work" 7 1/2 hours at most schools instead of 8. (We all know we work about 11 a day!) Break-wise, if you are getting a duty free lunch, it probably is legal. Check that contract over and make sure this is changed the next time it is up for bargaining. Do not let them put so many minutes per week for planning, make sure you get so many per DAY. Good luck.
